Supportive Community Living Services

The SCL Program is a skills-based program providing training and other assistance intended to keep the individual living, learning, working, and socializing in the community.

Provided to adult individuals with:

  • Mental Illness
  • Intellectual Disability
  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Brain Waiver Injury

SCL Skills Training may include:

  1. Independent Living Skills — Teaching skills necessary to sustain one’s self in the physical environment and manage one’s personal business including self-advocacy skills.
  2. Money Management Skills — Teaching skills necessary to conduct basic money-based transactions.
  3. Self Care Skills — Teaching skills necessary to care for one’s physical well-being.
  4. Social Skills — ¬†Teaching skills necessary for the individual to appropriately interact with others in personal and social settings.
