About Us

Home Caring Services is a non-profit home health agency offering affordable home care aide services in Des Moines County, Iowa.

We are able to offer services on a sliding fee scale schedule based on a client’s monthly income.  Our funding and payment sources include: local United Way, Medicaid, Medicare, Waivers, VA, Area Agency on Aging, Public Health, memorials, contributions, and private pay.

While we do not provide skilled nursing services, we contract with Des Moines County Public Health and utilize their staff.

A little extra care can increase independence and save money by:
* Improving nutrition.
* Minimizing fall risks.
* Improving household maintenance.
* Improving overall hygiene and physical appearance.
* Providing wellness checks.
